 Adjustable Clasp

(a way to hang a pendant so that you can change the length of the string)

1. If the hole in your pendant is made so that needs to sit flat, you will need to do a half hitch knot as shown right.  You may want to add a tight fitting bead after this knot to stop movement.

2. To create the sliding string, place two tight fitting beads on one side of your string, then slide the other end of the string through the beads in the opposite direction.
3. Tie a knot on each end of the string.  Trim and seal these knots with a flame.
